What profile and motivations do your master's students typically have?

Our students tend to be professionals who work full or part-time, and therefore benefit from the strong online component offered by our master's degree. Half of our students are recent graduates and the other half are over 30 years old. Usually, students from abroad who want to do the master's degree from a distance also register to the master’s degree.
What is the most unique aspect of the master’s course?

The unique aspect of the master's course is its Problem-Based Learning (PBL) format. This gives the students the flexibility to manage their studies in their own time. The PBL tasks are designed with weekend study in mind. This format is complemented by online lectures and seminars, half of which are scheduled outside working hours.
What does the master's degree offer students?

Students have the opportunity to develop scientific skills. Knowledge in the nervous system sciences evolves very quickly and, therefore, also becomes obsolete very quickly. For this reason, we focus on maximizing our students' ability to develop and apply scientific criteria to search for and select information.
What impact does taking the master's degree have on the students' professional careers?

The profiles of our master's students are extremely varied in terms of their age and education and, therefore, expectations. When they complete the master's degree, the most common impact is for students to want to continue to doctoral studies. For this reason, we have designed the course so that their master's theses can subsequently form the first part of their doctorate.
