Bridging courses

Information for the 2023-24 academic year

Admission to some doctoral programmes may include the requirement for specific bridging courses as specified in the description of the doctoral programme.

When judging the transcript of the candidates admitted, the academic committee of programmes that include bridging courses must decide which subjects they need to register for, take and pass.

The subjects regarded as brifging courses have the status of master-level training for the purposes of public prices and application for scholarships and grants.

They are not taken into account to calculate the duration of the study programme and they need to be successfully completed towards the beginning of the doctoral thesis and at least within the first academic year.
