Calendar of extinction previous programs RD 99/11 and incorporation of programs RD 99/11

Legislative regulation

Doctoral students at the URV, which accessed to doctoral studies before the 2014-15 (except programs RD 99/11) academic year, can be registered under different regulations of studies, according to the legislation that was in force at the time of accessing to doctoral studies.

These are the relevant Royal Decrees corresponding to each legislation:

However, the regime on the panel, defense and assessment of the thesis is from the Royal Decree 99/2011, implemented the 2013-14 academic year.

Extinction schedule previous programs RD 99/11

The publication of the latest legislation of doctoral studies, RD 99/2011, it established a timetable which set the deadline when the current doctoral students had to defend the thesis:

  • Doctoral students who completed their first registration processes on or before 10 February 2011 have until 11 February 2016 to defend their doctoral theses. The last course for enrollment was 2015-16.
  • Doctoral students who completed their first registration processes on or after 11 February 2011 have until 29 September 2017 to defend their doctoral theses. The last course for enrollment is 2016-17.

Elapsed without defending of the thesis (29 September 2017), the doctoral student cause definitive deregistration of the programme.
