2.- Check the other information required for the issuance of the certificate

When

Once you have checked whether you can request the issuance of your certificate and that you meet the requirements.

Where

On the page "Check the information needed to issue the certificate".

How

Check your information carefully and if anything is incorrect and/or you have changed or added anything new, choose the option corresponding to the section "Student's observations".

What you must check

Personal details

  • Check that your name and date of birth coincide with those on your identity card/passport.

  • Once you have ensured that your name coincides with that on your official identity document, you can propose changes to the accents on your name and surname provided that these are in accordance with orthographic rules as established by the URV's Language Service (catalan).

  • Check that your contact telephone number, email address and home address are correct. Remember that emails sent to you by the URV will generally be sent to your URV email address, even though they may also be sent to another email address in your name.

Academic details

If you have registered for more credits than are needed to complete the degree course and you are still waiting for the final official marks to be awarded for outstanding subjects, you can either:

  • Request the issuance of the certificate, which means that you renounce the marks for the outstanding subjects (you must inform the secretary's office of the faculty/school/campus so that they can annul your registration for the outstanding subjects).

  • Wait until the marks for the pending subjects have been awarded and then request the certificate.

Financial information

If you have been provisionally awarded a grant, you cannot request the issuance of your certificate until the grant has been officially awarded and, if appropriate, all fees have been paid.

If you qualify for any fee exemption, check that the exemption is specified in your record. The exemptions are:

  • large family

  • level of disability equal to or greater than 33%

  • victim of domestic violence

  • victim of a terrorist act

If you are a grantholder and/or you qualify for a fee exemption and this does not appear in your personal information, this is because we have no record of this in the computer system. If this is the case, you must send a scanned accrediting document by email to the secretary's office of your faculty/school/campus.

If, once you have completed the revision, you find that:

  • Everything is correct ⇒ click on "Review of information completed WITHOUT any changes or errors".

You will automatically receive an email from the secretary's office of the faculty/school/campus stating that they will contact you as soon as possible to continue with the process.

If the secretary's office/campus secretariat finds that you are in a position to request the issuance of the certificate, it will send a pdf file containing the invoice for the issuance fee/s to your URV email address and to your personal email address.  The secretary's office/campus secretariat will also tell you that you can present this request via the online application from two days (*) after having paid the issuance fee.

  • There is a problem ⇒  click on "Review of information completed WITH changes or errors".

You will automatically receive an email stating the problems that you have identified. You will be asked to send any necessary scanned accrediting documents to the secretary's office of the faculty/school/campus at the same email address.

Once you have resolved the problems, the secretary's office will confirm this and send a pdf file containing the invoice for the issuance fee/s to your URV email address. The secretary's office/campus secretariat will also tell you that you can present this request via the online application from two days (*) after having paid the issuance fee.

(*) 10 working days for applications presented at the Baix Penedès Campus.
