HOW DO I REGISTER?

2.1. Do I register at the Secretary's Office or online?

You have to complete the registration process online during the specified period.

You can find additional information on the registration process on the URV website.

You can also send an email with your query to your Faculty/School (contacts).
 



2.2. How do I access online registration?

Go the URV website http://www.urv.cat/ and click on .

On this page, click on the corresponding level of study (Master's).

You will be taken to a page with general information and a section entitled Master's degrees.

Remember that you can only begin online registration during the specified registration period.

You must also ensure that you click on the correct link as a student of an official university master's degree.



2.3. I cannot access online registration, what should I do?

1. You may be accessing the application at the wrong time. Check that the registration period has started by clicking on

2. Your passwords may need to be synchronised.

  • Your username and password are the same as the ones that you use to access the University's Digital Services (intranet, email, virtual campus, e-journals, etc.).
  • If you cannot access online registration with this username and password, click on the following link to synchronise them: https://idm.urv.cat/idm/user/
  • If you still cannot access online registration, contact the Secretary's Office of your Faculty/School.

3. If the online registration application tells you that your username and/or password are incorrect, check that they comply with the following format:

Username:

► If you have a Spanish identity card (DNI): your username is your DNI number in the format 11111111-X

    · that is, there must be a hyphen between the numbers and the letter and the letter must be UPPER CASE.

► If you have a Spanish resident's card (NIE): your username is your NIE number in the format X11111111

    · that is, the first letter must be in UPPER CASE and followed directly by the numbers. There must be no hyphen between the first letter and the numbers. The last letter must not be included.

Password:

This is the same password that you use to access the University's Digital Services (intranet, Wi-Fi, email, Moodle virtual campus, e-journals, etc.).
Originally you were assigned a password consisting of your date of birth in the format DD-MMM-YY (this will still be your password if you have not changed it), that is:

   · two numbers for the day of the month on which you were born
   · hyphen
   · the first three letters of the month in which you were born written in Catalan and un UPPER CASE:

   · hyphen
   · the last two numbers of the year in which you were born

Therefore, if you are accessing the University's Digital Services or if you have never changed your password, then your username and password will have one of the formats in the following examples:

► A person with DNI number 39383736-K and born on 5 June 1991 will have:
                 ♦ Username: 39383736-K
                 ♦ Password: 05-JUN-91

► A person with NIE number X-9876543-G and born on 17 March 1982 will have:
                 ♦ Username: X9876543
                 ♦ Password: 17-MAR-82



2.4. I cannot remember my intranet password, what should I do?

Do the following:

1. Go to the intranet and click on the link at the bottom of the page regarding forgetting your password.


2. Click on the group that you belong to.


3. Click on "No recordo la meva clau d'accés".


4. Go to the "Gestor Identitat de la URV" if you entered a security question and answer for use in these situations. If you did not enter a security question and answer, enter the information that is requested of you.


5. In the "Gestor Identitat de la URV". If you click on "Has oblidat la clau d'accés?" without entering your username you will be asked to provide this information.

Once you have entered your DNI/NIE/passport number and clicked on "Has oblidat la clau d'accés?", you will see:

6. Once you have entered your answer, you will be taken to the page where you can change your password. Enter a new password that complies with the password requirements and click on "Canviar clau d'accés".

7. 7. You will then receive following message "Clau d'accés restaurada correctament", which means that you have successfully changed your password, and you will be taken out of the Gestor Identitat de la URV.




2.5. How do I register online?

The website contains various links that can help you to register online.

You can watch the online registration "DEMO" on the page entitled "Formalització de l'Automatrícula", which is at the bottom of the information page. You can find a demo for each level of study: university master's students. (watch demo)

2.6. Which documentation do I have to present for registration?

2.7. How do I know that I have registered correctly?

At the end of the online registration process, you will receive an email informing you that you have successfully completed the process. We also recommend that you save and print your registration confirmation as proof that you have successfully completed the process. The registration confirmation shows the subjects and credits that you have registered for, the registration fee and your chosen payment method.

You can also enter the URV intranet to consult your academic transcript and financial record, which will show you which subjects you have registered for, the fees that you have to pay and your chosen payment method.



2.8. How can I print off my registration details? I have lost my registration receipt, how can I get another one?

You must print it off when you complete the online registration process. You will have the opportunity to do this on the same webpage. If you do not print off a copy immediately, you have a further five days to do so. You can enter the  from 16.00 to 23.59 and print a copy.

If you do not have a printer, you use the ones in the URV's Computer Rooms.

After this period, you must contact the Secretary's Office of your Faculty/School.
