Mobility programs

SICUE PROGRAM (Sistema d’Intercanvi entre Centres Universitaris Espanyols/Exchange system among Spanish universities centers)-SÈNECA:

It is the students mobility program among different Spanish universities. This program offers the opportunity to exchange within students from last years in order to know different teaching systems and at the same time they learn social and cultural aspects of other autonomous regions.

In order to support the mobility of the students around the Spanish State, the Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deportes establishes a scholarship plan called SENECA. To apply for this assistance, it is the student and not the university who has to ask for it at the Ministerio.

To participate in this mobility program and also to be eligible for SENECA grant, the student must have passed a total of 90 credits and he/she has to be enrolled 30 more credits of the degree. Furthermore he/she has to hold an average grade of 1.5 points or more.

The department of Geography has agreements with the following universities: Valencia University, Granada University, Lleida University, Barcelona University, Malaga University, Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea/Basque Country University and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria University.
