Antonio Quesada és professor titular d’Economia a la Universitat Rovira i Virgili. Al 1999, es va doctorar a la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

Actualment, la seva àrea d’investigació està enfocada en la teoria de la decisió social i en la axiomatic aggregation theory. Ha fet publicacions en revistas com Social Choice and Welfare, Journal of Mathematical Economics, Theory and Decision i  Mathematical Social Science, entre altres.
