Conferences on the day of Sant Jordi

On April 23, the day of Saint George (Sant Jordi in Catalonia), Dr. Oscar Saladié, director of the DOW/URV Chair of Sustainable Development, made ​​two conferences on environmental issues and the need that our development will be more sustainable: use of natural resources, land use and waste management, among others.

The first conference was held at 6 o'clock pm at the Cultural Center of Vila-seca, under the Aula d'Extensió Universitària de la Gent Gran found in this town of Tarragona district.

The second conference took place at 8 o'clock pm in the Assembly Hall of the Agricultural Cooperative of Sant Jaume dels Domenys (Tarragona). The activity was organized by La Llinyola-Associació de Dones de Sant Jaume dels Domenys, as part of the activities organized by the association on the occasion of St. George.
