CAE - Student Help Centre
The Student Help Centre (CAE) was created for the purpose of providing information and advice to students at Rovira i Virgili University on any aspect that might contribute to improving their experience with us, providing them the services required for their development and participation in university life. To this end, the centre offers direct access to various aspects of university life that may be of interest to you:
In addition to the CAE team, the University Community Fellow Advisors (BACU) can help you in many of these areas. This list provides the contact information for each of the BACUs at the URV: LIST OF BACUs
The CAE works to inform and provide orientation to possible future URV students through various informative actions such as the publication of materials and chats in secondary schools as well as the presence of the university at fairs and congresses throughout the region.
As you know, doing sport is a key component of a healthy and balanced life. The university encourages our students to be physically active in the most beneficial conditions, to take part in credit-yielding elective courses, to participate in tournaments in Catalonia and Spain as representatives of the URV and to play with their classmates in the university five-a-side or seven-a-side football leagues.
The CAE also manages the Job Bank. If you want to gain work experience in a company, if you’re looking for a job compatible with your studies or if you’re finishing up your academic career and are ready to put your skills to work, have a look at our webpage.
Work-study positions let you combine your studies with work experience in the different university services, while earning a monthly salary. Check out our grants webpage for detailed and up-to-date information about calls for applications, allocations, etc. You can find out about other types of financial aid programmes and grants, such as work-study positions with departments or grants sponsored by the Repsol-Consell Social.
You’ll find information on our websites about how to get to all the different university centres by public transport as well as information about undergraduate student admission procedures. If you’re moving to the area to study, our Accommodation Database can help you find a flat.
The CAE will also give you advice on the different possibilities for participating in university government bodies as well as the different grants and subsidies available if you would like to organize cultural activities.
If you’re interested in organizing an activity in one of our campus facilities, you’ll have to follow the protocol in this link and submit an application.
The CAE provides support to students who have special needs due to a disability or any other circumstance. If you are a person with a disability, you can find useful information in our guide.
Do you have a question about how to apply for admission to official university bachelor’s programmes? Do you have to take the PAU (university entrance exams)? Would you like to take the PAU again? Are you over 25 and want to go to university? Are you over 40 with professional experience linked to a bachelor’s programme? Are you 45 and want to start your academic career?
You’ll find all the answers you’re looking for on our admissions page.
