The Film Group was founded in October 1999 with the objective of promoting and disseminating cinema as a form of cultural and artistic expression. Its activities are aimed at both the university community and society in general. They include:

Showing film cycles and holding cinema forums

Organizing courses and seminars on cinema

Evaluating film showings

Disseminating cinema throughout the Tarragona area.
